Nikon 85mm ƒ/1.8D AF

Nikon 85mm ƒ/1.8D AF Tube. Duration : 3.32 Mins.

This video is a brief hands-on review on poor man's 85mm ƒ/1.4D AF... The 85mm ƒ/1.8D AF with two 8's in the name. The 85mm ƒ/1.8D AF will NOT focus automatically with these models of D40 / D40X / D60 / D3000 / D5000. Enjoy. Also, this is the first video with our new reviewing system instead of a tiring novel. Let us know if you like it or not - if not, please give us some good suggestions to improve the new reviewing system, grazie, grazie. This video description will be updated constantly upon suggestions via emails or comments. Update #1: Wrong legend key color for Chromatic Aberration (shows up as baby blue in the key box but solid blue in the scale), easily fixable. Update #2: Add a slide for vignetting test for DX digital SLR's. Update #3: Add "film" to the FX digital SLR's vignetting test. Update #4: Add a "Additional Notes" slide to advise people what to look out for (no switches, common problems, sealed against dust / moisture or not, etc.). Update #5: Add a slide concerning flare / ghost and how it affects the overall color and sharpness performances. Update #6: Add a slide concerning distortion for DX and FX. Enjoy. Music: Glittering Blackness by Explosions in the Sky
